GNSS infrastructure
It is common use of GPS from a car By the spread of car-navigation systems.Nowadays, many of car-navigation
systems use independent positioning. It ts acquired only about 100m positioning accuracy.Sufficient accuracy is
not expectable although the car-navigation system using day FARENSHARU GPS also exists.
In InternetCAR, it is measured by not only using the GPS but also highly precise positioning differential which
use GLONASS and realtime-kinematic.Generally it is referred to these global positioning systems
as GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System). In order to perform positioning with high precision,
there is a way to use differential or realtime-kinematic. It is necessary to prepare the communication way
for delivering compensation information.
The Internet is used for the communication way of compensation information in this research. We present a model,
implements softwares, and standardization of a protocol. And simultaneously employ as a GNSS infrastructure
actually.
We aimed for the things which can be used by not only InternetCAR but the connected toInternet as a user.
In this research, we have deep relation of organizations and enterprises, such as a WIDE Project and DX antenna.
And actually we research making use of the two or more datum points. From now on, we have plans to research with
organizations, such as the Geographical Survey Institute and Communications Research Laboratory.
- GPS: Global positioning system developed in USA. It is mainly used in Japan.
- GLONASS: Same system which is developed in Russia.
