Objectives

In spirit of these traditions, Keio University has inaugurated KIEP in January, 1996. The objectives of KIEP are to encourage selected people in politics, business, science and technology, journalism and various academic circles to come together, to exchange frank opinions and views on diverse issues of significance, and thus to establish new paradigms at this time of historic transition. KIEP aims at establishing an interdisciplinary, trans-national and cross-societal forum which gives guidelines to the world as well as Japan for the coming 21st century.
