Title:

Lifetime Delegation Forwarding

Abstract:

DTN (Delay and/or Disruption Tolerant Networks) is considered as a communication method for the emergency situation, such as recovery operation after disaster. In most of previous work, in order to adapt various the network topology and the situation of leave of intermediate node, replication is widely use as a forwarding scheme. However, while achieving of high delivery ratio, the load of network would also higher. In this presentation, we propose novel forwarding scheme, Lifetime Delegate Replication, which achieves not only keeping higher delivery ration, but also reducing the load of network bandwidth by delegation of message Lifetime.
