Title:
Towards Exascale Computing: Hybrid Systems and Programming Models
Abstract:
Hybrid systems or heterogeneous systems are emerging to accelerate application performance. However, parallel programming, especially, programming high performance data transfers for such environments is one of the time-consuming tasks. This talk introduces a new programming model for hybrid systems where our tool produces a parallel application with latency hiding automatically from its dataflow model. We use a CFD benchmark to evaluate our scheduling performance, which results in 795 GFLOPS on a cluster with 32 GPUs.
