Self-introduction:
I have a B.A. with majors in Computer Science and Southeast European Studies from the American University in Bulgaria.

My interest in new modes of research and training arose at the begining of last summer when I was faced with training myself and a group of other students multimedia presentation skills. I had played around with HTML sice the time when NCSA's Mosaic was just a better Gopher client.
The ease of use of this hypertext tool made writing the materials for the 'lectures' so much easier to write and follow, and I could easily integrate tutorials written by other people.

I can't say that last summer was a smashing success, but every student who participated left with new ideas and knowledge proportionally to the time they had spent practicing.

My own research lays in the area of automated learning, from the perspective presented by Cognitive Science. I'm here on this list to discuss some of the problems I encountered in teaching both people and machines, and to see what other ideas are blooming around the world.
