Introduction: I am a instrument (control engineer) by profession and work as a Technical Director in the Asian Power Centre of Yokogawa Electric Asia Pte. Ltd.

I am also a management consultant interested in action research, action learning, action science, managerial learning and virtual learning/consultancy. The consultancy, Elogue, which I am a Director of, is a network of consultants interested to establish a v ritual learning/consultancy business in the Asia-Pacific region. The network consists of consultants and academics from Australia, USA, New Zealand and Singapore and we have links with other consultants with common interests in other parts of the world.

I have a Masters Degree in Systems Engineering from RMIT, Melbourne and am currently pursuing a PhD in Business and Management through the University of South Australia and my area of study is using action technologies (action learning, research and science) to promote managerial learning in the work place.

I am about to establish a list called actlist in Singapore to help managers doing MBA programs using action learning use the internet to discuss their projects and work related problems with other managers and experienced facilitators of action learning and research. I am also likely to be involved in setting up MBA and Masters programs in Engineering Management in Singapore.

I live in Sydney, Australia but work most of the time in Asia with my work base in Singapore. I love Japan and have visited it many times working for Yokogawa and am currently managing a large power station project in Singapore subcontracted from Babcock Hitachi in Kure near Hiroshima.
