Self-introduction:
I am an assistant professor of philosophy at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, and I am interested in higher educational matters, especially if they pertain to the situation in my country. We in Thailand are in the midst of a nationwide effort to find ways to restructure the higher education system so that it responds more effectively to the changing world. And this kind of effort naturally involves thinking hard on how to incorporate the uses of advances in information technologies. As one who sees the potential of the Internet, I would like to see its use more widespread, but to realize that seems to incur a lot of problems. So I think the workshop is a very timely occasion.

My name is Pornnit Wattanapisitkul, a Thai physiotherpist. I graduated with a master degree of science (physiotherpy) from Mahidol University, Bangkok. Now I am the acting head of physiotherpy department , Songklanagarind Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University.

I am very much interested in distance learning, especially the adaptive technology for the disabilities.
